Although the Tandem Meetings have moved to April 23-26, 2022, the FACT Accreditation Workshop will still be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This FACT workshop will focus on the clinical transplant program and begins with an overview of the FACT accreditation process. Applicants will then have the opportunity to view a clinical inspection tour and, using a provided inspection checklist, identify specific FACT Standards covered during the tour. Participants will also review case studies to determine compliance, correct deficiencies, and have the opportunity to listen to transplant programs' accreditation success stories. Finally, participants will learn how to improve data management through follow-up and discuss corrective action plans to improve outcome analysis.
