Kimberly Kasow, DO - HOST Dr. Kim Kasow is the Director of Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant at UNC with a primary clinical research interest in providing hematopoietic cell transplantation to patients with sickle cell disease. She is the Associate Director of Quality Initiatives for the UNC BMTCTP adult and pediatric program and the Associate Director of Quality for the UNC Advanced Cellular Therapeutics Facility." She is a current member of the FACT Board of Directors, serving as the Treasurer, the Chair of the FACT Finance and Quality Management Committees, and Vice-chair of the FACT Technology Committee. Dr. Kasow is also a member of the Cellular Therapy Accreditation Committee. Dr. Kasow has served as a Clinical Hematopoietic Cellular Therapy, Clinical Immune Effector Cellular Therapy, and Marrow Collection FACT inspector since 2006. |

Amy Beres, PhD Amy Beres obtained her bachelor's in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin. She earned a PhD from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. After more than a decade of bench research in cellular therapy, Dr. Beres transitioned to industry where she gained experience in FDA regulations and cGMP manufacturing. She later transitioned to healthcare and serves as Director of Regenerative Medicine at Advocate Aurora Health where she has overseen the Cell Processing Laboratory since 2016. |
Elizabeth Ferraro, BA Elizabeth Ferraro has been the Quality Management Coordinator for the Nebraska Medicine Apheresis Program since its inception in November 2018. Prior to joining the Apheresis team, she worked in tissue banking and pharmaceuticals for 25+ years in Quality roles. She is also certified LEAN practitioner and energetic problem solver. |

Eunice Kim, MT(ASCP). Eunice Kim, MT(ASCP), is the manager of the UCLA Bone Marrow Transplant/Stem Cell Laborator, performing testing, processing, and infusion of standard of care and clinical trial cellular therapy products. As the lead of Cellular Therapy Research Ancillaries, she manages and facilitates approval of clinical trials through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Eunice has worked in the Stem Cell Lab since 2017 with prior experience in Bacteriology/Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing and a degree in General Biology. |

Stephanie Lihvarchik, MT(ASCP)BB, SSGB(ASQ) Stephanie MT(ASCP)BB SSGB is the QA Manager for the Johns Hopkins Hospital- Apheresis Program. She brings over 20 years of experience in leadership, quality assurance, compliance, and process improvement to the apheresis industry. The Apheresis Program is part of a growing BMT Program and Immune Effector Program that manages the treatment for both adult and pediatric patients. She is actively involved in multidisciplinary and collaborative approaches to patient care, quality, and regulatory requirements. As a current FACT Inspector and she enjoys meeting apheresis professionals and sharing knowledge. Her focus and expertise is finding innovative techniques to solve regulatory/compliance issues. |

Heather Steinmetz, MPH In the role of Quality Assurance Manager, Heather works with the Hemapheresis Unit, Stem Cell Lab and Adult & Pediatric clinical transplant program. Since 2015, she has worked in collaboration with all areas to ensure regulatory compliance in incorporated into all aspects of the program. Most recently, she has served as operational lead implementing all FDA approved CAR-T therapies within the Hematologic Malignancy/Stem Cell Transplant (HM/SCT) Program. Throughout her career, Heather has worked within the bone marrow transplant field. She began as a donor coordinator for 4 years at BeTheMatch guiding unrelated donors through donation. In 2010, she joined UCLA as a CIBMTR Coordinator. While reviewing and reporting patient status to the CIBMTR registry, she learned key elements fundamental to the success of the HM/SCT program. Heather transitioned her donor and patient experience into the QA Manager role providing a cohesive understanding of the entire program |

Olive Sturtevant, MHP, MT(ASCP), SBB/SLS Olive is currently the Senior Administrative Director of the Connell & O'Reilly Families, Cell Manipulation Core Facility at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston Massachusetts. Prior to this position she served as the Quality and Regulatory Director of the Cell Therapy Programs at DFCI for the first 15 of her 20+ years at DFCI. She has been very active in FACT and has served as the co-chair for the Cellular Therapy Quality standards for several editions now. Olive is also actively involved on quality and regulatory committees for several professional organizations and is the Chair for the ISCT CTLM (Cell Therapy Liaison Meetings). |
