This workshop will focus on recipient care, including clinical outcomes. In addition to describing new FACT requirements for evaluating one-year survival, the morning session will describe the OU Medical Center Blood and Marrow Transplant Program’s experience with successfully evaluating clinical outcomes to improve survival for patients undergoing hematopoietic cell transplantation, followed by a discussion of factors other Clinical Program Directors believe impact one-year survival.
The Applicant Track includes sessions on root cause analysis, recipient care, and confidence during FACT inspections. The Inspector Track will provide tips for thoroughly conducting inspections and establishing rapport with applicants. Sessions are accompanied by exercises and group discussions to practically apply lecture concepts to real-world experiences.
